At Forget Me Not Animal Rescue, every single life matters. Many of our animals come to us with special needs. Some require medical treatment for heartworm disease, demodex mange or surgical help. Others have experienced trauma and need some help learning to trust again. Still more have come to us from kill shelters where they were scheduled for euthanasia simply for space or for having any of the issues above. And then, we have our pitbull type dogs that face discrimination and misinformation all the time.
We give these dogs and cats time, love and treatment. Our goal...a happy, healthy life and forever home for each one. We don't focus on quantity, we focus on helping those who need us most.

In 2016, we helped 34 animals. Sadly, we lost one feral kitten to disease. We had 31 wonderful adoptions and continued to intake animals who needed our help. We are proud members of Shelter Animals Count. Our stats are available. According to the ASPCA Live Release formula our live release percentage is 100% (By using Live Outcomes and Intake, the rate measures activity related to the impact of animals admitted and the number of Live Outcomes. The number of animals admitted to an agency will impact the resources available for live-saving programs (and thus Live Outcomes). 33 Live Outcomes divided by 32 Intake = 100%.
Thank you for helping us help them! |
